The ArcGIS Web Editor 12.1 release includes enhancements and new functionality throughout the software such as enhanced drawing tools and the full release of the ArcGIS Web Editor Instant Apps template.
Highlights are listed below:
- The Web Editor Instant Apps template is now available. Configure the template to create a streamlined editing app. Enable utility network tools and configure options for versioned data in ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Create and edit true curves using drawing tools.
- The Trace tool for utility networks was updated with an improved user interface and experience. New functionality includes the ability to perform subnetwork traces by specifying the subnetwork name.
- When snapping to more than one feature with z-values, new snapping functionality allows you to select from which feature the z-value should be used.
- You can now view and remove copied content in the Clipboard pane, available when using Paste special.
- Add temporary layers to a map, which allows you to copy and paste features into a different layer to add features to a map in ArcGIS Web Editor.
- Search for layers in ArcGIS Online, your organization, or your content.
- Add a service from a URL.
- Upload local files, such as a zipped shapefile, or CSV, KML, GeoJSON, or GPX format files.
