The ArcGIS Instant Apps update includes the new features, app templates, and enhancements listed below.
Configuration
- Atlas has added the Find current location button configuration option and an advanced compass mode to add cardinal direction labels.
- In Public Notification, you can now configure the app to use a custom print service from ArcGIS Enterprise to allow for more PDF export customization.
- A new configuration option has been added that allows users to use the language switcher on the cover page as well as the main application.
- An option has been added for the app author to specify the close behavior they want the app user to experience when they close the introduction window.
Templates
- Gallery is a new template that allows you to present items from a group that can be filtered, searched, viewed, and explored by app users. You can filter content using group categories or organization categories. This app template will replace the Category Gallery template in a future release.
- Web Editor is a new app template that offers data editing capabilities for users. Configure an app with a array of editing tools to add, update, or remove features. Users can complete a variety of editing workflows on features in the map. Enable utility network tools and configure options for versioned data in ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Attachment Viewer has had a full redesign for published apps, which includes a gallery filmstrip in the attachment focused layout.
- In Basic (Media Map), when a layer contains videos, app users can play the videos directly from the layer list. The template now has separated the information panel from the introduction window so you can include both of them in an app instead of only one. When a link chart is added, app users can now hide nonspatial records on a link chart without removing them by clicking the Toggle Nonspatial Visibility button. App users can also now change the layout of the link chart.
- Public Notification allows you to include a search distance to newly added features within the refine selection section. This enables noncontiguous areas to have a buffer distance.
- The Global GeoGLOWS model in Streamflow Viewer includes access to retrospective streamflow simulation, a model simulation at hourly intervals beginning from January 1940.
